For bloggers and webmasters PayPal is a key tool, as it makes easy and relatively inexpensive, send and receive money to a large number of countries. A few weeks ago announced the incorporation of the Mexican peso to its system of transfers and since a few days ago, Paypal activities formally began in Mexico .
The first step has been to involve the major companies e-commerce in Mexico . Sites such as eBay, bookstores Gandhi, Mixup, MYER, Blockbuster, Sears and others and receive payments from paypal accounts in local currency, erasing all of the way these formalities with banks to receive or make payments via the internet.
As part of the promotion, PayPal and several of the participating stores began a campaign with discounts for the entire holiday season.
No doubt this will facilitate the flow of money for the network and could increase business opportunities for the sector. Moreover, with the entry of paypal to Mexico, it appears their interest in the region, so it would not be surprised to see arrival in Chile, Brazil or Argentina in the near future.
Do you think you have a significant impact on the Latin American income from this service?

The hosting of the Top 100 blogs Mexicans
November 21, 2008
A few weeks ago Who Is Hosting This presented a list with the accommodation of the Top 100 blogs according to Technorati. Now, taking advantage of improvements in WhoIsHostingThis and using the ranking Bitacoras.com, they left a chart showing where you can stay the top 100 blogs Mexican .

The number of services used by these 100 blogs were very different, giving a total of 33 different companies hosting . The companies hosting free or low cost were the rulers: Blogger (21 blogs) and DreamHost (16 blogs). It also highlights a small group of companies more expensive and extensive use globally: Media Temple (6 blogs), Liquid Web (5 blogs), SoftLayer, Inc. (5 Users).
It should be noted that the data hosting might vary slightly, as some smaller companies use the services of other larger and the service is not always used to show that small business. Moreover, the ranking bitacoras.com only takes into account those blogs that have occurred in your system and some blogs may have been marginalized, however, is one of the highest reference.
It is clear that a host does not necessarily influence the quality of a blog.

Getting visitors to stay as readers
October 31, 2008
It is very likely that the percentage of receive visits per day , between 50-75% coming from Google (not to say “search engines”). And we know that very few of these visits will become readers of the blog or see him again. SoloSEO we are offering 5-practices recommendations did not find anything to read but important to re-account to try to get them after the first reading to stay with us :
1 .- Writing content IN-TE-RE-SAN-YOU-SI-MO: all have that post that he has received very good acceptance, was meneado, he arrived zillions thousand comments and backlinks … but … How many of our posts fall into this category? ¿1 per week? I want! To the extent that fill our blog not only content but we are getting good content for those who arrive from Google, we decide to include Pluto in its usual by the blogosphere.
2 .- Create a community: while it is hard work, many bloggers blog in parallel to strive to maintain alternating interaction with its readers through social networks (and beyond what other blogs and promoting beers and others). For many visitors can follow a blog from his group in Facebook, Twitter or Technorati is attractive and will be grounds to be added.
3 .- Launching a competition or contest: outside the malograda experiecia that some had with rubiaguru, promote a contest or competition dynamics is something that generates a lot of buzz and commonly is well received both by occasional visitors like by the readers of other blogs that come to hear the case. And if there is through a good reward (hosting service, ipod touch, literature, subscriptions to web services) …
4 .- Add subscription by email: sometimes we become bloggers iterative us to recommend that we add to their feeds, but what of those users is not as high-level management of the Internet that do not know pussies what we mean by “subscribe to the feed? The simple and concrete phrase: Get in your email the contents of this site can leave the medium-term share of new readers per month.
5 .- Write a serial (or many): There will always be something that both of you feel like you can with the ability to write: “How to achieve this”, “Knowing this other” … why not do a serial of the same reason? A series of articles with a frequency of 1-2 times a week for 2 or 3 weeks of hook to keep safe from those who arrive by Google these days and the posts will become loyal readers.
Simple but concise recommendations , do not you think?

Askimet now with statistics
October 21, 2008
Announced since its official blog, and I imagine those already discovered by lovers Plugins promptly update used in his WordPress, we learned that Askimet, the spam filter in stringency, has added between its features a statistical service to which you can access from the home page of the administrator:
The graphics allows us to sift between spam, ham, missed spam, false positive and yummy foot -you go. to understand what it means c/u-, as well as a historical monthly :
Chart Askimet
This feature does not doubt it will be a delight for those addicted to the statistics, but on the other hand allows us to locate, for example, the times in which we have seen more invaded by spamers and if match for example, with some period small updated site. At least from my point of view and from experience with other blogcitos moribund got around, there is a greater proliferation of spam when you stop posting. Or will my imaginations?
Searches live easily with Sikbox
October 20, 2008
It is known by all the typical drawers search usually covered in sidebars of blogs as a tool for visitors who have discovered this interest we have written on a particular topic. And whether we use the box on Google or WordPress widget results are provided (commonly) on another page. For those who take pleasure in adding “details” to your blog, even in this aspect of Auxil to readers in the search for content is designed Sikbox: Live easily searched.
Sikbox can also be used to search those sites that do not offer such an alternative -and-nothing strange enough to do so from the home site to add the domain in which the term by search and investigate, resulting :
If you come to thank you so much Sikbox add a drawer in your blog search because the service offers such a possibility by a code. On the other hand, by not having to perform to get any confirmation, it occurs to me that it can also be used to include in our blog search boxes on other sites (something like “What Wikipedia says about …?”) . The area of settings looks like this:
In my view both the Google search box like the one that comes by default in WordPress are more than enough to comply with this requirement, but as well it says: for taste, color. In addition, if added to our favorites will have an excellent tool for searching those sites or blogs that have no such option.

Comparative with others through ReviewMyWeb
October 18, 2008
The sites from which you can do measurement and analysis of your web are very prolific (and it is expected that in the same way they are functional), only in this post find out Girl Seo 4 of them. Well, not to exhaust the options they want to comment on ReviewMeWeb , which has the peculiarity of offering an interesting report of your web page by adding the data from other 2 so you can compararte with them .
The way it works is simple, just enter the url of 3 sites you want to include in the report and an email address at which you send to the few minutes the same, which is offered in a Web site with a very careful presentation ‘to’ and in which information is broken down on traffic, incoming links, pages indexed, specific data from the tags as well as a report Based on the above information. You can learn here that I threw the test:
No doubt that in this environment is as competitive as the blogosphere, we have in the
analysis of the statistics (and in this case to the extent that we can also those of our nearest competitors) a tool for optimizing, enhancing feedback and the work we do every day and can not be reduced only to fill the blog content.

PollDaddy and Wordpress already are brothers
October 16, 2008

Automattic, the company owns Wordpress , buy PollDaddy, one of the most popular services for new polls on websites. It seems that the idea is to create a service that can be integrated in a quick 2.0 to other applications such as MySpace, Ning, Blogger, Typepad, Hi5, Orkut, Piczo and clear Wordpress. And it is the latter that have already launched a plugin.
The plugin the same name, PollDaddy , and allows you to create and manage polls PollDady.com from the panel of writing, of course, prior record if you do not even have an account with that service ( Videotutorial see). For now the plug is just a shortcut to what they already could do manually and you will see in the future if we see a more natural integration with Wordpress.
Automattic is on the rise, has already bought Buddypress, InteseDebate and now PollDaddy, all services related to blogging and clear, sponsored by his best card: Wordpress.
Emezeta, a rating for your site
October 15, 2008

Emezeta is a tool that describes your website or blog according to several criteria. In general the criteria are: the nature of your server, position rankings, use of files to search engines (robots.txt, sitemap.xml), number of pages indexed and the proper use of html and css.
The only thing to do is enter a URL to obtain the qualifications and recommendations, or until congratulations according to the results of your site. There are many tools to obtain information from a website, this shows them in a way that it seems to me original and that can be useful. Ah! and this in Spanish.
