Windows Live Messenger for iPhone / iPod Touch now available for download in the App Store
June 21, 2010

Finally the wait is over for iPhone users. After half a year of rumors, and as many months to see screenshots leak and finally reaches the App Store official client Windows Live Messenger .
In Genbeta we have already said enough the functionality of this client, which not only allows talking with multiple people at once, but is integrated with the social functions of Windows Live , allowing it to update status, discuss the status of other people, and share photos. It also functions as client to Hotmail , showing notifications whenever new mail arrives.
Unfortunately, it seems that is now available only in the U.S. App Store , but more likely in the coming days / hours to appear on the App Store the rest of the world, there is no logical reason for Microsoft to leave it as an application “U.S. only” (unlike Bing app that integrates with services that are only available in the U.S. version of the browser).
