Twittercal, create appointments in Google Calendar via Twitter
April 6, 2010
Berto Pena , an expert in personal productivity and author of well-known blog Thinkwasabi shows us a way to schedule today Google Calendar events using our twitter account .
For this, use the Service
Twittercal , this is a service free whereby sending a direct message with the date and time of event gcal account, it will automatically create the event in your Google Calendar. It is a very fast and direct method if you’re on Twitter with your regular customer with her hands on the keyboard, writing for other posts.
The process is simple as the sea, as Berto tells us we must follow 3 steps:
- From Twitter continues to gcal
From Twittercal apply for the authorization service so you can access your Google Calendar and create appointments on your calendar.
- You can start sending DMs to create appointments.
The format for direct messaging is not very complicated, but the problem is that messages must have keywords in English. For example:
- D gcal dinner school friends at 8pm
- D gcal meeting with paul on April 6th at 9 a.m.
In fact the service is not new, as we saw in
genbeta for almost 3 years but not more than once in a while cool and useful services that help us increase our productivity by making use of Web 2.0 .
