More than half of the Firefox extensions are not compatible with the 3.1

December 3, 2008

There is a curious fact about Firefox that I want to share with you: more than half of the extensions available for that browser is not compatible with version 3.1.

Exactly 53% of extensions developed for Firefox is not compatible with version 3.1 . Of that total, 12% is not compatible with the version alpha, 21% is not compatible with the beta and 14% is not compatible with the latest version.

It is, without doubt, a press release rather curious. The upcoming 3.1 version of which will launch the beta 2. It is expected that the final version is released next month, or within two months.

What about compatibility? Will it improve? We would like to hear your opinion.
