digiKam 0.10: Support for KDE4 so many new and more

The development team of the project digiKam , the application that comes standard at KDE to to manage photos and cameras , has just announced the availability of the version 0.10. 0 software, which finally has been made ports needed for it to work perfectly in KDE4 .
digiKam is one of those applications you get greatly simplify some tasks for specific users, so that all the followers of the desktop KDE a very high percentage of missed unless there was a native version for the latest edition of the desktop environment.
In addition to the great change to the QT4 libraries, List updates and bug fixes is huge. Regarding aspet general application, some of the most important changes are:
- Preview videos and audio files.
- Improved performance (now multi-thread ) to generate previews.
- We have removed all units with the X11 libraries.
- Major improvements in support for images RAW .
- Improved management of metadata and the gelocalización of snapshots.
- Redesign and improvements to the interface in mind small screens such as the netbooks .

Finally, in the context of photo editor digiKam has also evolved in this release, including a list of interesting news:
- New plugin for automatic correction of the “lens effect” integrated library LensFun.
- Improved navigation on the thumbnails.
- All the tools are now embedded within the editor window.
- Integration with the printing system QT4/KDE4.
is available for digiKam GNU / Linux but it is also possible to install Windows (thanks to the installer project KDE on Windows).
